Congratulations on your recent marriage! You are cordially invited to attend our Annual Christian Newlywed Retreat and Workshop located in the beautiful town of Sisters, Oregon. We received your name and email from a friend or family member who thought you might be interested in attending the retreat. If you are able to attend, please register by April 1, 2019. If you CANNOT attend please let us know on the RSVP form so we don't keep attempting to contact you. Thank you!
WHO WE ARE?
Chad and Jenise Johnson -- Retreat Presenters
Chad and Jenise celebrated 25 years of being married in August of 2018 and still seem to like each other, a lot! :-) They are passionate about Godly marriage and so desire to see others experience rich, real, romantic and unified married lives.
Christian marriages are under attack and fortifying, edifying, and building up marriages is huge desire the Lord has placed on their hearts. Chad and Jenise love sharing the lessons they have learned from good, bad, and ugly that they have experienced in their own lives and truly believe that God is able to create masterpiece marriages from ordinary lives. The joy of being married is very real to them and they love to share truth from God’s word and personal experience to increase other’s joy in marriages just getting started.
Chad and Jenise live in Bend, Oregon with 9 of their eleven children. Their two oldest daughters are married and they have 2 grandchildren, with number 3 arriving in July.
Blanche Tadlock -- Retreat Coordinator
Married for over 43 years Blanche and her husband Orville spent a lifetime serving others in the missionary field and ministry. In 2007 the Lord spoke to Blanche and the concept of this Retreat was born. Blanche loves and sees God everywhere in beauty in Central Oregon and there is nowhere she would rather be than on the trail.

RETREAT INFORMATION & DETAILS:
Some of many topics that will be discussed include:
1. Communication - One of the bedrock principals of a good marriage. How do you and your partner rate?
2. Finances - Life is complicated, how to properly think about finances?
3. Intimacy - Our culture is so loud, what is the proper way to view intimacy in a marriage?
4. Loving your mate for a lifetime - Not just feelings, how to implement a lifetime commitment.

Date: Friday, April 12th - Sunday, April 14th. This weekend retreat starts Friday evening with dinner and ends Sunday afternoon at 2:00 PM.

Cost: Apart from lodging, the cost for the retreat is $45 per couple. Please pay upon arrival. Food and meals (for the entire weekend) will be provided as part of the retreat. Prepare yourself for some of the best food and company you have ever beheld! The cost also includes all the seminar sessions and materials, fun, and fellowship. We have a deep desire to encourage marriages to last a lifetime, therefore we want to make it affordable as possible for couples to attend!

Location: Sisters Community Church: 1300 McKenzie Hwy, Sisters, OR 97759 Most of the retreat activities will be held in the stunning Fireside Room of the Sisters Community Church. This spacious and beautiful setting provides just the right blend of ambiance and community. Meet other couples, form lasting bonds, and learn real truths that you can take and build on for a lifetime.

Lodging: Each couple is responsible for their own lodging. There are several hotels in Sisters. Please contact these hotels directly or use the links below if you are interested in booking a room.
